Tips: Getting More Ratings For Your Articles

You may have noticed that there are rating stars available at the top and bottom of each article. These stars give your readers the ability to rate your articles and as publishers these stars serve as feedback.

Why is feedback important to me?

In this modern age, feedback from your readers give you a measure of your performance in the real world. Much like comments, feedback ratings provide empowerment and encouragement.

Using this information you can gauge how well your article reaches out to your audience and further improve the quality of your writing. More often than not, higher ratings bring more readers :)

How do I encourage more readers to rate my article?

Once your article is approved, our system sends a notification email to your Inbox which should look like this.

Copy and paste the code at the end of your original article. A voting button will appear at the bottom of your post.

I Deleted The Notification Emails!

Don’t worry. Copy the code below, replace YOUR ARTICLE URL AT THE EATGOD REPORT with you approved article URL and append it to the bottom of your original article.
<a title="Vote for this article at the eatgod report!" href="YOUR ARTICLE URL AT THE EATGOD REPORT" target="_blank"><img src="http://eatgod.ahyen.com/theeatgodreport_vote_small.gif" alt="Vote for this article at the eatgod report!" /></a>
Finally, promote your article in Twitter and Facebook and openly ask for feedback ratings. You’d be surprised that sincere requests for feedback would give you some useful insights on your work!

Good luck!
